How do I start investing with BQE?
After completing the investment profile assessment, choose a portfolio and link your KB Securities account to receive regular rebalancing.
What are the minimum investment and fees?
The minimum investment and fees for each portfolio are set out in the product guide and contract documents. For details, please contact us via the 1:1 KakaoTalk channel.
Where are my invested assets held?
Your assets remain held in your own KB Securities account under your own name. BQE does not hold your assets directly or withdraw them without your authorization.
Can I withdraw funds at any time?
Since your assets are held in your own KB Securities account, you can manage and withdraw them directly whenever you need to.
How do I cancel my contract?
You may cancel your contract at any time. Please contact us via the 1:1 KakaoTalk channel for cancellation requests, and our team will guide you through the cancellation process and settlement.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly in the app or on the website. After logging in, go to My Page → Delete Account and follow the steps. Once deleted, your account is deactivated immediately and you will no longer be able to log in or use the service, and your personal information is deleted. However, contract and transaction records that must be retained under the Capital Markets Act and other applicable laws will be completely destroyed only after the statutory retention period (5 years under applicable law) has passed. Any active contract will be terminated as part of the account deletion process.
What kind of company is BQE?
BQE (Black Quant Equity) is an investment firm that provides global asset allocation strategies based on macroeconomic analysis and quantitative models. It seeks a balance between risk and return by adjusting sector weights across market regimes.
Is BQE an asset manager or an investment advisor?
BQE provides investment advisory services, analyzing each client's goals and risk profile to advise on global asset allocation. This is distinct from collective investment (asset management), which directly manages or holds discretion over client assets.
What is BQE's investment strategy?
Using our performance engine 'Athena', we analyze high-growth technology stocks and dynamically adjust sector weights by market regime. In volatile periods we take a defensive position to limit drawdowns while pursuing long-term returns.
Are returns guaranteed?
Investing involves the risk of principal loss, and past returns do not guarantee future returns. Final responsibility for all investment decisions rests with the client.
